Came here for an overnight stay with kids. Very friendly staff and adequate room for the price. Comfortable beds with hot water shower. Don't expect anything more than a quick stay lodge and you will be happy!

I cannot say enough amazing comments about the tour booked through Malik Tours. I am a female solo traveler whose Sri Lankan vacation did not get off to a good start. Once I booked this tour, my trip had a positive turn around. It was led by Ravi and included stops in Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Sigiriya, and more. Ravi made suggestions for a few off the beaten path locations that would have never been on my radar. And he was always there to explain the history and significance of the temples. I am fortunate to have him as my guide in so many ways. Especially as the roads are hectic in Sri Lanka, but he handled all the driving with finesse. The choices of lodging were spot on. Every room I slept in was spacious and clean. Whatever questions or concerns I had, Ravi was always there to problem solve. If you want to avoid large tours bus groups and guides who drop you off at overpriced tourist traps, then choose Malik Tours in Kandy for a personally designed authentic Sri Lankan adventure of a lifetime at a reasonable price. Make sure you ask for Ravi!!!!

The guest house is really laid back, and is perfectly located so it's really easy to get around everywhere in Kandy! Mr Malik is a lovely man, and runs a lovely guest house! I reeally recommend this Place!

I travelled with a group of 17 students to Sri Lanka this fall. Palm Garden was recommended because it is located only a 5 minute tuk-drive from the city center, and because of the spacious terrace. We stayed there for 4 days, always receiving the help we needed. One night we stayed in for dinner, the personell cooked for 3 hours to make us a traditional meal. Very friendly staff. Recommended!

I stayed at the palm Garden in Kandy only for 1 night on my way from Colombo to Nilambe. I arrived in kandy after dark and Mr Malik very kindly picked me up from the Train Station. He helped me with my bags to a lovely twin room with excellent facilities. He then kindly drove me to his other Hotel, Mango Gardens so I could have dinner at the restaurant, waited for me to finish and then took me back to Palm Gardens. The staff at the restaurant were all very friendly. I booked an extra 2 nights stay(paid for 1 night as a deposit) at Mango Gardens after my trip to Nilambe, Nuwara Eliya & Ella. There was a change of plans and I had to cancel my booking. Mr Malik very kindly arranged for me to collect 50% of my deposit back immediately from a friend of his in Ella. This is above and beyond what I expected. He is very laid back and kind and I would definitely stay at either hotels again. Thank you Mr Malik. :)
